Sultanhan Hotel

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, tidy and neat. The housekeeping service was excellent. The location is perfect, Blue Mosque is just a 5 minute walk away and the tram station is just round the corner. Many shops and restaurants also close by. No complaints at all. Hotel service overall was immaculate. Would definitely recommend and if I was to visit again, this would be my choice.

We really enjoyed our stay. The roof top restaurant had amazing views, you can see the sun rise from Asia and all the boats in the harbor at night. The breakfast was good, with a lot of choice and the evening meals were great too. The chef even came up to serve our main course and introduce himself. The cleaner provided a brilliant service making sure everything was neat and tidy. The staff arranged our taxi back to the airport and this was a good price. Hotel is off the main road so quieter at night but within walking distance of trams and sightseeing. Overall the staff were great, a big thank you all of them.

STAY AWAY ITS A SCAM-Very bad experience in this hotel. They definitely write their own reviews with false accounts as we asked many people there that weren't satisfied at all with this hotel. You cant sleep at all because of the noise, the rooms are too small and old, then have no AC as they promise and the employees are extremely rude. It doesn't even worth a 20$ per day we left this hotel earlier because of the many issues that ruined our vacation and they didn't accommodate at all, all they ask for is money and to scam you please stay away from this hotel its a disaster

My family had the pleasure of staying at Sultanhan Hotel - Special Class，and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in a great area, close to all the main attractions in the city. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant served a great variety of Turkish dishes. I highly recommend Sultanhan Hotel - Special Class to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Istanbul.👍👍

We got two rooms at this location after reading so many reviews, but each experience is different. We had mixed experience of good and unpleasant here; I am sharing both so other readers may benefit. Our check in was smooth; the person who checked us in was pleasant and friendly. He checked us in early (about an hr early) and offered us complimentary breakfast for the same day that was very much appreciated after the long flight! I requested for clean rooms; we got one room that was without any issues; however, the room on the 2nd floor had clogged drains and somewhat outdated bathroom. The view from the window was not so pleasant. The location is close to the tram and other restaurants and that was a plus point. One more big plus is their rooftop dining area that has the beautiful views of the city with sunrise. The breakfast options were decent, too. I suggest that you do not exchange currency with them; we dealt with a staff member (a young guy) who exchanged the currency, gave us less than promised; then he sold us the candy they serve complimentary to guests. He first said each packet was 200 Lira, later changed his word to say it was 400 Lira each. We returned one of the unopened packets but were at loss for the other one. This was an unpleasant incident that broke our trust with them. We did not have time or energy to argue with him or report him to the hotel head. If one is used to staying at international 5-star chain hotels, this is not a place they would like.

The stay here at sultanhan hotel was amazing, the staff is great and very helpful, they provide you with alot of information regarding things you can do in the area around there, the location is also wonderful with a 5 minute walk to both ayasophia and the blue mosque, the grand bazaar is also close by. The rooms get cleaned daily by your request which helps make the stay feel fresh, stay there if you are visiting istanbul, I will definitely be visiting again.

THEY WRITE THEIR OWN REVIEWS WITH FAKE ACCOUNTS AS THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM AND A REAL DISASTER-Please do yourself a favor and don’t go to this hotel-you will ruin your vacation big time! They are impolite and they will make false representations- no AC, the noise upstairs will never let you sleep or rest-rooms are terrible and the staff are so impolite don’t trust the fact they are making a discount this hotel doesn’t even worth 20$ a day
